A PRAYER FOR THE NATIONS TO THE LORD
- If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
- We have prayed a lot about our needs, problems, or struggles we face every day, but what about praying for our nation? Is praying for the nation one thing that we should do, or is this only meant for those with a special calling as intercessors?
- Seeing the condition of the Israelites who reaped the consequences of their actions, God was waiting for someone to stand up for the nation before Him. This means that God is waiting for someone who will cry out to Him. God asked the Israelites to humble themselves, repent, fast, turn, and cry out to God.
- Each of us is called by God to be an intermediary or a liaison between our nation and God. We can read the news through the media and know what is happening in our nation. What do you feel when you see that situation? For example, when a bad thing happens/there is injustice/some sins and transgressions are done by the people living in our country. Will we keep quiet?
- Do we believe that God can restore everything?
- Before asking for repentance and change to happen in our nation, we must first come to confess our transgressions and turn to God as representatives of our nation. Let us seek God’s approval, let us be fair, love one another, and act righteously before God and everyone, because the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
- It is not about how long you pray. It’s about who is praying.

DROP THE FEAR
Fear can be a sticky thing. Give it a place to grab hold and it can suck you down into a muddy pit. You might even feel that you’re going under, with little hope of rising back up.
But God the Father has His strong and caring hand extended out to you. He’s waiting for you to grab hold of His hand! Grab his Hand and drop the fear!
Sometimes fear can be overwhelming. Sometimes you may feel as though you can’t help but feel fear. But, God is able and willing to help you! And once you’re “up from the mud” His firm grasp is always there to keep you from sinking again even when the ground underneath you is unsteady.
Let go of fear and hold on to God’s loving hand. Drop it.
Have you ever felt stuck due to fear? How did you change how you felt?
Are you currently feeling stuck because of fear?
Is there something that is stopping you from taking God’s helping hand? If so, go ahead and ask God to give you the strength to hold His hand and trust Him and let go of the fear.
Take it to the King after you answer and watch the Comforter take over.

THE EXCHANGE
“The Exchange”
When Joshua took over for Moses, he had some big sandals to fill. Not only was he the new leader of the Hebrew nation, but he was also being tasked with a nearly impossible mission— to take possession of a land full of strong, gigantic enemies.
To say he had some fears is an understatement.
But God answered those fears by extending an incredible promise: “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9 NLT).
In exchange for crippling fear, Joshua was going to gain something far stronger—Almighty God was promising to go with him: to have his back, everywhere he went!
Mission accepted and (spoiler alert!) accomplished.
There are plenty of things in this world that can trigger fear: serious illness, financial insecurity, crime in the neighborhood, bullies, persecution, and more.
The list is long.
How do we deal with all of these fearful circumstances?
- The same way Joshua did. By laying down fear and picking up the hope that comes from God’s promises.
In the Bible, there are over 70 verses that basically say “don’t be afraid” (depending on the version you use.)
But God never meant for you to simply turn off fear; you have to exchange it for something else. We can trade in our fear for faith in God’s promises!
What God offers to us in His promises are His Words, in which we can literally trust Him, instead of feeling paralyzed by fear.
Discover what God wants to give you in exchange for your fear. These things can help you move forward through difficulties, overcome despair, and journey in His plan with confidence.
Blessings

LOVE IS A STORM
“Love is A Storm!”
In life we will all experience storms, but Praise be to God that He is right there with us.
When storms appear in your life, don’t get sidetracked by the noisy crackling thunder and the whistling winds. Instead, aim to intentionally focus on Jesus Christ.
Jesus is with you in the storms of life, and in His power and authority He is able to command peace in any storm that surrounds you today.
Although the storm rains seek to soak your strength and the whistling winds seek to shift your course, remember God’s love. He will never leave you nor forsake you and He is right there with you.
God is guiding you in love and developing you into the dynamic person you were called to be. Have faith that God is coming through and don’t mistake that just because you are going through storms God’s love is absent. No! God is there and those who love him, He is working everything out for their good according to his purpose! God loves you in every season you experience in life, whether it is great or challenging. Remember that God loves you! Don’t forget that he really loves each and every one of his children.
Walk in God’s love today because He always comes through in His love for you!
Pray with me- “God, I thank you for your love, kindness, grace and mercy. Although I experience storms in my life, I thank you that you are there with me. Sometimes it is a challenge to see how everything will work out for my good when I’m going through storms that seek to choke my praise and blind my focus on you. Our Heavenly Father, I praise you for being sovereign and that all my storms are subject to you! Thank you for peace, strength and growth as my faith increases in you. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

ONLY THEN
“ONLY THEN!”
Joshua 1:8 NLT
“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. ONLY THEN WILL YOU PROSPER and succeed in all you do.”
God has established loving boundaries for us to follow as it relates to: friendships, business agreements, conversations, marriage, associations, relationships, work, teaching, discipline, when someone does you wrong, your actions, your thoughts and so much more. We as believers are to spend time in God’s word and prayer as the Holy Spirit reveals deep truths to us regarding God’s covering and loving boundaries.
The loving boundaries God has established in your life are not to limit or punish you but to bless and reward you. We are called to listen and obediently pay attention to God’s commands to love him and serve him with all of our heart, soul, choices, thoughts and our whole being. (Deuteronomy 11:13). There is blessing in obedience. When you obey God and respect his love for you, you are really showing and telling God that you love him.
THIS IS THE KEY TO WHAT GOD PROMISES AFTER HE SAYS “ONLY THEN!”
Don’t mistake God’s commandments, boundaries and covering as limitations in your life but receive them as his love for blessing and prospering you. ONLY THEN will you step out of the life of wondering aimlessly in rebellion & see your life change direction towards the PROMISES OF GOD.
God comes through in loving YOU. SO When you obey God and respect his love for you, you are really showing and telling God that you love him.
Pray with me!
God, I ask for forgiveness in classifying your commandments, boundaries and covering as negative limitations in my life. I know now that your love forever encompasses me. Thank you for your commands that are established to protect me when I follow them. I choose to obey you, LORD. In Jesus’ name, AMEN
